Back Pack

The Back Pack is an external hardware housing so that the screen, keypad, badge reader, scanner, etc. can be neatly connected to the Medicart. This also includes the WIFI antenna and the COW Controller. The COW controller is an intelligent battery charger with integrated double DCDC conversion and a USB connection to the PC. The COW controller also monitors the battery status and keeps a log file of the charging / discharging. The charge status of the battery can be checked visually by means of the LED on the Powered Back Pack and via the PC screen thanks to an application called “Battery Monitor Software”.

 

NEW Belintra Fleet Manager

Your IT department can choose to implement the new Belintra Fleet Manager software. Belintra Fleet Manager allows central management of all battery-powered mobile IT systems from Belintra. This makes optimal and preventive maintenance possible.

 

NEW Battery technology

There is also an important evolution in the field of battery technology. In addition to the standard VRLA AGM battery, you can also opt for a LiFePO4 battery. Both batteries have their own typical characteristics. The VRLA AGM battery offers a very good price / performance balance, but has a shorter autonomy and a longer charging time. This battery is also protected against deep discharge. The more durable LiFePO4 battery offers a longer autonomy, shorter charging time and a longer life.

 

Intel® NUC Mini PCs  – Latest generation

After a thorough market analysis, Belintra opts for the NUC solution from Intel®. Important trumps such as the durability in mobile use, the small form factor, the processors with high computing power and minimal consumption, good WIFI connectivity and compatibility with current software in healthcare were decisive in this respect. Intel® NUC Mini PCs deliver known reliability and come with a 3-year Intel® return guarantee.

 

Quality displays

In terms of displays, we choose Neovo. Designed for 24/7 use, these durable metal cased displays are protected by NeoV™ Optical Glass, and are offered in 22 ”and 24” standard. A touchscreen can also be offered on request. The Neovo displays consist of superior components that ensure a long product life. AG Neovo’s specific picture settings improve color, brightness and contrast ratios.
